FACILITIES FOR HIRE FOR YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE, MEETING, BALL, PARTY, SPORTING FIXTURE OR FAIR
At Gateways we have a range of facilities available for hire for any number of events from a simple meeting through to weddings or conferences. We are conveniently located between Leeds, Harrogate and Wetherby and easily reached by the motorways. Leeds Bradford International airport is less than 10 miles away and Leeds train station is only 9 miles away. Parking is available on site through a secure, gated entrance for approx 100 cars and minibuses or coaches.

NEW TO 2011 - DANCE STUDIO
SPORTS HALL
Ideal for large parties, dinners, balls or table top sales. Male and female toilet facilities and a shower.
FITNESS SUITE
Located in the Sports Hall, the fitness suite includes a number of exercise machines.
MINI CLIMBING WALL
More difficult than it looks! This facility can be used in conjunction with the Sports Hall for parties or sporting activities.
DANCE STUDIO
New to September 2011, the Dance Studio is a great opportunity for clubs or groups who want to use this facility for dance classes, yoga, pilates or any other activity you feel would benefit from this space.
COX-SIMPSON LIBRARY
The Cox-Simpson Library is a wonderfully light, modern facility. Upstairs the Library has study areas with desks but this area has also been used for formal dinners seating 30.
Downstairs there is an informal seating area and two meeting rooms, one with a seating capacity of 10, the other four. The reception in the Library is ideal for meeting and greeting guests.
ART & DESIGN STUDIOS
We have a large art classroom which is ideal for hosting evening or holiday classes. It has plenty of natural light and seats up to 26 around tables.
PERFORMING ARTS THEATRE
The Gateways Performing Arts Centre is a theatre in the round that can be converted to a more traditional amphitheatre. When used in the round, the theatre seats approximately 300 people. Impressive sound and lighting systems give productions a professional edge. There is a foyer directly outside the PAC, ideal for hosting a reception prior to a performance.
TENNIS COURTS
The School has four outdoor tennis courts available.
FOOD TECHNOLOGY ROOM
A food technology department which seats 16 to cook with 8 ovens and 10 sinks. Ideal to run food demonstrations in.
SCIENCE LABORATORIES
We have a number of science laboratories available to use across the holiday period or in the evening. All are fully equipped to make for a great learning experience.
CHILDREN’S PLAY AREA
A purpose built play area with large scale musical instruments and climbing frames, with grass and cushioned flooring - great fun for the under 7s! Can be used for an outdoor party along with the Sports Hall or PAC for additional party games!
OUTDOOR SPACE
We have 20 acres of fantastic outdoor space. Within that we have any number of areas that are available to hire, including netball courts, rounders pitches, running tracks, orienteering courses and extensive playing fields. These are available to hire either in lots or as a whole.
PRICES
There are discounts for use of multiple buildings on one date, or across a period of days. Multiple bookings can also be VAT exempt.
Room hire of the Performing Arts Centre is £40 per hour for the facility.
REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments are available in term time only and we have details of external caterers for functions outside of term time.
