Learning through play is the key focus of the Gatehouse Nursery. The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum promotes six areas of learning and development through:

• Personal, social and emotional development
• Communication language and literacy
• Mathematical development
• Knowledge and understanding of the world
• Creative development
• Physical development.

Dedicated staff ensure that all children achieve their full potential. In addition to the regular Nursery staff, the children also receive specialist music tuition from colleagues in the school Music Department.
