Libraries

The school has three libraries: a Pre-prep library, a Prep library and the Cox–Simpson Library for the High School.

The Cox–Simpson Library, managed by a professionally qualified full-time librarian, plays a key role in preparing our pupils for a future in which knowing how to learn and make use of a multitude of information resources will be just as important as what they actually know. It provides countless possibilities for independent learning and research as well as a superb setting for whole class studies in many subjects.

The library has a fully computerised catalogue for ease of independent research, an easy-to-use 'thumbprint' system which makes borrowing books quick and straightforward, a 20 station computer room available for both independent study, research and for classroom teaching. The library contains an informal seating area to encourage the girls to come to the library and read for relaxation.
