Blake sing up a storm at Gateways

On Tuesday, the internationally famous classical cross-over boy band Blake came to Gateways to talk about their new album, their third so far, and give pupils from both Prep and High School a performer’s view of the music industry. During their visit they sang three songs from their new album, including ‘She’, the famous Charles Arnevor song. They also had an impromptu X Factor session and invited girls onto the PAC floor to sing. Holly Britton (Upper VI) became an instant star by taking up the challenge. Blake were so impressed by her singing that they gave her special mention during a live BBC Radio Leeds broadcast later that morning. Their visit proved so enjoyable that Blake have promised to return to the school in Spring
