Netball winning streak

The under 12 netball team claimed their second victory in a row on Wednesday evening when they beat Roundhay with an impressive score of 10:1. All girls played extremely well from start to finish and truly deserved their triumphant win. Beth Brown was player of the match; she has worked extremely hard in practices and this was evident in her game play. Well done Beth and the rest of the under 12 team.

Benton Park travelled to Gateways on Thursday evening to play against our under 15 netball team. Gateways claimed a home win, beating Benton Park 14:6. The game was competitive and the essence of sportsmanship was evident throughout. The pairing of shooters Heather Hall and Georgina Fletcher proved ruthless and the defensive partnership of Alex Carpenter and Anna Barr was outstanding. Well done girls.
