Gateways’ elite gymnast

Manisha Ramesh (Upper III), a Junior Elite gymnast who currently trains at the Carnegie Gymnastics Centre in Leeds, recently competed in the British Gymnastics Championship for Women Voluntary Level 2 at the Spectrum Centre in Guildford, Surrey and was placed ninth nationally in the bars category. She scored the highest mark in the whole of the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Manisha will now go on to compete in the Women’s Compulsory competition Grade 2 on 21 November 2009 at Aldershot in Hampshire. If she is successful in that competition, she will be able to compete in the Women’s Espoir competitions next year. We wish Manisha every success.
