Recycling

The Gateways School Environment Club runs a paper and cardboard recycling service within the school. Boxes for waste paper can be found in each office and classroom and these are collected by members of the club regularly and taken to the recycling bins.

The club has also introduced an initiative to recycle the plastic cups that are used in the school dining room.

Drives have been held to recycle mobile phones to raise money for charities, blankets and coats for those less privileged, ink cartridges, spectacles, shoes and general items of clothing.
