Both prep and high school pupils have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular drama classes with Lynne Malone.

The Sessions

Classes work in small groups or individual following the New Era Academy syllabus of graded examinations.

In a variety of communication, presentation and performance disciplines, the aims are to:

o Develop high standards of speech, communication, presentation and performance
o Encourage an appreciation of literature, poetry and drama
o Encourage all learners to meet their potential
o Promote the personal, social, creative and intellectual development of the individual
o Acknowledge and record levels of achievement and progression
o Prepare learners for the opportunities and experience they will require in our contemporary society
o Children will be entered on age & ability; they will receive a written report from their examiner & a certificate. Gain UCAS Tarff points for all level 3 examinations to augment university entry

Fees

From September 2023, the cost will be:

* Group Lesson: £9.40 per lesson for 30 lessons per year

* Individual Lessons: £23.25 per lesson for 30 lessons per year

This includes books or scripts needed; examinations will be taken in the month of April, children will also have the opportunity to take part in festivals. Fees cover 30 sessions of 30 minute over the course of the school year, which is split equally between the three terms.
