Scholarships

Each year a limited number of scholarship awards are available to pupils entering Year 7 and Sixth Form at Gateways. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit, following either examination or assessment and interview depending on the type of scholarship applied for. They can be worth up to a maximum 25% of the fee.

We offer Academic, Arts (Music, Drama and Art & Design) and Sports Awards to pupils who demonstrate exceptional ability. Candidates may apply for more than one scholarship. Scholarships are applicable throughout a pupil’s career at Gateways, subject to an annual performance review.

Bursaries

A bursary at Gateways School is a means-tested financial award for families who experience a temporary period of financial hardship and this is subject to annual review. There is a limited number of bursary awards available.
Bursaries may be awarded in addition to the award of scholarship.
