U10A&B Mixed Netball v Brodetsky (Friday 23rd March)

Result – No results recorded

This was a lovely afternoon of netball in which all teams made massive strides with their netball. Gateways had the best of the play and were able to finish their attacking moves. Brodetsky worked their way into the game and their coach will be very pleased with the way they applied themselves throughout. We look forward to welcoming Brodetsky back in the summer for some cricket and rounders.

Player of the match goes to the entire group as they all played so well and it was a terrific finale to a very busy season!

U9ABCD Netball v Ashville (Tuesday 27th March 2018)

Result – No results recorded

The girls from Lower 2 and Upper 1 played Ashville Year 4 girls at Ashville on Tuesday. There were four teams who played, and it was lovely to see so many girls represent the school in netball. The girls played the ‘high five’ rules of netball, whereby each player rotates positions allowing everyone to try both attacking and defending skills. The scores were very close and it was a lovely afternoon to finish the season off with. Thank you to all the girls for a great season.

U8 Boys Hockey v Ashville (Tuesday 27th March 2018)

The U8 boys split into two evenly match U8 teams and each took on three Ashville teams in 3 separate ten-minute matches. It is a credit to the boys’ effort in practice over the past few weeks that they gave their best hockey performance of the season. They attacked with pace and purpose, they looked to play the ball down the right hand side of the pitch and they defended resolutely as well! The future looks bright with this group for sure!

Although every played well on the day, Jack Cobbald, Lucas Kitson, Charlie Shaw and Haaris Kiani really stood out. Well done to the entire squad for their efforts over the course of the season.
