The Sixth Form is a new and challenging stage in every student’s education. The Gateways Sixth form is large enough to offer a very wide range of opportunities, both in terms of subjects to study and extra-curricular, self-development and leadership activities. However, it is also small enough to ensure that every student is known individually, both by her personal tutor and her subject teachers. The support given to students in terms of their applications to university and future development is unrivalled.
Most pupils who have taken their GCSEs at Gateways stay on for their sixth form studies. Every year we also welcome some students who have previously attended other schools. They are always made to feel very welcome and settle quickly into life at Gateways.
