Gateways School invites you to come and visit us on our annual Open Morning.  During your visit you will get a chance to have a look around the school, meet some pupils and talk to various members of staff including the Head, the Head of 6th, the Head of Prep and the Head of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Most parents choosing an independent school cite smaller classes as the main reason for doing so.  It is worth knowing therefore that Gateways is the only school in the wider area to deliver a small class size promise by ensuring that our classes are limited to an average of between 14-18 pupils.

Gateways has an annual value-added score which places us in the top ten of all schools nationally and we believe that this is due to our smaller classes.  Our examination results this year placed us as the 7th best small independent school in the country at GCSE (1 in 3 candidates achieved 8 or more GCSEs at grade 7 and above) and the 5th best in the country at A level (59% A*/A grades).
