We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in September 2024. Some additional hours during the Summer Term (May-July 2024) may be available for training. The role of a Learning Support Assistant will be utilised differently across the School, depending on the needs of the pupils. The successful candidate may be required to support pupils will additional needs, such as visual impairment. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be expected to guide individuals or small groups of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), work both within and outside of the classroom, under the direction of the SENCo and teachers as well as independently. The objectives of a Learning Support Assistant will differ according to the individual requirements of each pupil. Hours 08:30 – 16:00 Monday – Friday during term time and morning briefings (where applicable), plus all staff training and development days. Start Date 2nd September 2024. We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Assistant to join our Operations Department. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Assistants will assist in all areas of the Operations Department, completing a variety of tasks including maintenance work, grounds work, car park duty, driving and cleaning. Working Hours We are seeking candidates who are looking for part time or full time positions during term time (35 weeks a year). Various shift patterns will be required between the hours of 6.30am – 8pm. Please advised your preferred number of hours in your application form or cover letter. Salary The annual salary for this position is £19,858.50 for 40 hours a week, paid pro-rata for part time hours (FTE £26,478). We are looking to recruit BANK School Minibus Drivers to join our Operations Department. We offer a ‘door to door’ service for our pupils, ensuring a simple and safe journey to and from school. The key function is to drive the Gateways School minibus in a responsible and competent manner and supervise pupils on their journey to and from School. The Minibus Driver will also have responsibility for maintaining the minibus and will assist with fixtures and trips when required. The successful candidate will hold a clean, current and valid driving licence (held for at least two years) and be reliable, trustworthy and patient. Experience driving large vehicles and previous employment with children is desired but not essential. BANK Drivers will help to cover bus routes during periods of staff absences and also assist with fixtures and trips which happen during the school day.
