We are looking to recruit a reliable, friendly and professional Bank Minibus Driver to join our Operations Department as soon as possible.

​We offer a ‘door to door’ service for our pupils (where possible), ensuring a simple and safe journey to and from school.​

​The Minibus Driver will drive a branded Gateways School minibus in a responsible and competent manner and supervise pupils on their journeys to and from School. ​

​They will also have responsibility for maintaining the minibus and will assist with fixtures, trips and maintenance.

Working Hours: Morning and afternoon bus journeys, trips, fixtures and maintenance as and when required.

Salary: £15.90 an hour.

We are looking to recruit an inspirational, creative and dynamic Teacher of Mathematics, to join a highly regarded, and extremely successful Mathematics Department.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be an excellent communicator who will convey their passion for all areas of mathematics to pupils of all ages and ability.
  • be willing to make a full contribution to the development of the teaching and learning of mathematics throughout the school, including the Prep Department.
  • be expected to deliver exciting and varied lessons which engage pupils and encourage them to develop their skills and understanding of the subject.
  • show initiative and confidence within the subject, aiming to stretch our able pupils whilst also having the flexibility to support our less able pupils.

The successful candidate will be:

  • enthusiastic, motivational and hard working with a passion for teaching.
  • willing to respond to the busy and caring atmosphere within school.
  • expected to promote the excellent academic results of this department.
  • able to adapt to the needs of the children to support individual learning needs.
  • able to teach Mathematics to GCSE and A Level standards.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Science, with a Chemistry specialism, to join a highly regarded, established and extremely successful Science Department.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who will convey their passion for all areas of science to pupils of all ages and abilities. You will be willing to make a full contribution to the development and growth of science throughout the school, including the Prep Department. You will be expected to deliver exciting and varied lessons which engage pupils and encourage them to develop their skills and understanding successfully. The ideal candidate should show initiative and confidence in the subject, aiming to stretch our able pupils whilst also having the flexibility to support our less able pupils. You will be a High School Form Tutor helping to support pupils' wellbeing.

The Science Department offer AQA GCSE Science Trilogy and AQA GCSE Triple Science. Results are regularly in the top 5 schools nationally for value added (CEM Centre data) and a large percentage of pupils go on to study at least one science A Level. You should be able to teach all three sciences at Key Stage 3, Chemistry to A Level and another science at GCSE.

 

Candidates looking for full-time or a possibility of 0.8 FTE will be considered. Please state in your cover letter your preference.
