High School fundraise for ‘Simon on the Streets’

On the last day of term, our High School pupils and staff took part in a walking challenge around the Harewood estate completing a 5-mile walking challenge to raise money for local charity ‘Simon on the Streets’.

Cookies and fruit were provided to keep the walkers going and they were encouraged along the way by our Lower 6 pupils who did an amazing job as marshals.

A number of Lower 5 pupils took the challenge one level further and they ran the 5-miles around the estate!  The sun shone and the pupils enjoyed being in the fresh air in such lovely surroundings! Rebekah from the charity ‘Simon on the Streets’ came to the finish line the cheer all the walkers as they arrived back.

A fantastic fundraise everyone; thanks to all who donated, we managed to reach our £750 target!
