With use of the whole school facilities and mature staff who understand and appreciate the needs of two year olds through their own time and experience as parents, the children simply could not be better provided for or looked after. Our outstanding Early Years provision also won the 'Best Early Years in School' category at the 2024 Nursery World Awards.
How to applyThe Gatehouse Nursery is open from 7.30am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday during term time.
Children have the option of attending the morning session (7.30am – 1pm), or staying for the full day (7.30am – 6pm).
Drinks and snacks are provided in the morning and the afternoon and lunch is included within the morning session, at around 11.30am. Children arriving prior to 8.00am can have breakfast.
The Nursery and Pre-Reception Holiday Club is for all children attending the Gatehouse Nursery and Pre-Reception at Gateways. The club is available during all holidays except for the summer holidays, where it is housed in Littlegates. The club is open from 8am – 6pm, please note the club is not open on bank holidays, the time between Christmas Day and New Years Day and the final week of the summer holidays.
The holiday club will be themed and involve crafts, stories, music and walks around the school grounds.
Packed lunch, snacks and drinks must be provided by parents during the holidays.
An email will be sent to parents at the relevant time allowing them to make bookings.
