We are looking to recruit a reliable, friendly and professional Minibus Driver to join our Operations Department.​

​We offer a ‘door to door’ service for our pupils (where possible), ensuring a simple and safe journey to and from school.​

​The Minibus Driver will drive a branded Gateways School minibus in a responsible and competent manner and supervise pupils on their journeys to and from School. ​

​The Minibus Driver will also have responsibility for maintaining the minibus and will assist with fixtures and trips.

The successful candidate will hold a clean, current and valid driving licence (held for at least two years) and be reliable, trustworthy and patient. Experience driving large vehicles and previous employment with children is desired but not essential.

Working Hours: 20 hours a week, typically between 6am – 7pm. ​
- Morning bus routes are scheduled to arrive at School between 8.30am - 8.40am. ​
- Drivers are required onsite from approximately 3.50pm ready for the afternoon route.
Term Time and all staff training and staff development days and staff meetings.

Salary: £12,402 per annum (Equivalent to £15.90 an hour)

Start Date: 1st September 2025.

Early Years Practitioner (working with children aged 2-4 years old)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring practitioner to join our successful Early Years team.

Gateways is a friendly place to work with a well-established team. We are a small setting that has the children at the centre of everything we do.

The role requires someone who;

  • Will provide exceptional learning experiences for children
  • Provide an excellent learning environment in which children can thrive
  • Be responsible for a key group of children, ensuring optimum well-being
  • Create and sustain positive partnerships with parents and families
  • Is highly organised, motivated and reliable

The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 EYFS Qualification (or above).

Hours: This is a part time position, minimum 20 hours a week during term time and 4 weeks in our EYFS holiday club (between the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm), and all staff training and development days. Please state in your application/cover letter your desired working days and hours.

Salary: £21,396 paid pro rata for part time hours (£25,875 FTE).

Start Date: The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.
