Class of ’25 celebrate excellent A Level results

It is another year of celebration at Gateways Sixth Form, as pupils achieve fantastic A Level results. 

• 100% pass rate
• 88% of all grades awarded at A* – C.

Gateways Sixth Form pupils have a bright future ahead of them as their fantastic A Level results helped them to secure their top university choices.  Over 90% of pupils achieved places at their first or second choice destination with almost half of all pupils moving on to Russell Group Universities.

The Head, Dr Tracy Johnson, expressed her delight at the results:

“We are thrilled that our pupils have achieved such amazing results. Pupils, and their teachers have worked exceptionally hard to secure the best possible outcomes.

The pupils now move on to the next phase in their educational journey truly equipped for whatever life might throw at them in the future!”

This group of pupils are the second cohort to spend their 2 years of Sixth Form in the new Sixth Form Centre which opened in September 2022. The centre is housed in a totally re-furbished building adjacent to the main school providing pupils with the perfect combination of small class sizes and the use of whole school facilities, while also enjoying a large degree of independence.  

As a non-academically selective school, Gateways is extremely proud to celebrate these impressive results, showing that their small class size model and personal attention are effective in maximising educational outcomes for pupils. Well done everyone!
