At Gateways, our enrichment activities are designed to align with our core values of Growth, Wellbeing, and Success. These activities provide a wide range of opportunities for pupils to explore new interests, develop skills, and foster personal and academic growth.
To embed the school values, it is compulsory that each High School and Sixth Former pupil enrols in at least one club. Should a pupil not choose an enrichment activity, one will be chosen for them to ensure they are engaging in a balanced extra-curricular experience.
Some clubs are capped due to space or resource limitations, but we operate a waiting list for those who are interested if a club reaches its maximum capacity. This ensures that every pupil has an opportunity to participate in the activities about which they are passionate. Additionally, some of the clubs will change throughout the academic year to provide fresh and exciting opportunities. Some rotate between age groups and new clubs will emerge to reflect the evolving interests and needs of our pupils, ensuring there’s always something engaging for everyone.
Many clubs are free of charge but certain clubs (indicated in red in the booklet below) require payment.
All sign-ups for clubs is via EVOLVE Clubs, which is accessible via the MyEvolve App as well as by invitation sent through Evolve.
Take a look at booklet below to see the latest clubs and activities offered in High School and Sixth Form.
