Lower 5 - Gateways School

Lower 5

In this section:

In Lower 5, pupils are faced with more in depth decisions regarding their next educational steps. The Careers programme here is designed to support this by ensuring that pupils are informed, are beginning to analyse their own strengths and interests, and can begin to formulate next steps based on these factors. Pupils may begin to develop career interests and map these against subject choices.

This is delivered through:

  • Careers lessons
  • Moving Up Day looking at “Brand You”
  • Annual Careers Fair
  • National Careers Week activities
  • Sixth Form Taster Day
